Grace

I have been thinking a lot about grace and what it means. The word grace is Hebrew in origin and it means favor. When I put the word into its Hebrew meaning I feel blessed, because  God has given me undeserved favor.  He loves me so much that he wants to bestow favor upon me.  But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! 2 Corinthians 12: 9  Another thought that comes to mind is that I do not deserve this favor, but yet it is freely given. It says in God's word,"... Freely you have recieved freely give." Matthew 10:8.  Even on my worst days I can call on my Father who loves me and he responds with unconditional love.  I need to give the grace that is so freely given to me, and extend that gift of grace to others.  I want to have the desire to overcome offenses that the enemy wants me to take on and just love others. To have the ability to love has Jesus loves me which is unconditionally.  My prayer is that I fully understand what God's grace is and be thankful for it.   Will you join me in this prayer to extend grace to others?  Blessings to your day and remember that you are loved by the King Most High.  Missie

God is my strength and power, And he makes my way perfect. 2 Sam 22:33 What an amazing promise God has for us, to be our strength and our power. My son Corry was able to drawn on this strength while he put together the carpet shampooer that I had bought. This nine year old mighty man of God shows me on a daily basis what God can accomplish for us if we just let him. As I was watching Corry put together the shampooer it reminded me that nothing is impossible for God to handle. Corry had a fun time helping me out, and I a lesson in faith. God is so faithful we just need to remember this, and put all our trust in him. Blessings to your day and remember that your are loved by the King Most High.

Hidden

I love this! The cool thing about this saying is that the author, Maya Angelou was not even Christan. Yet she knew that in order to be worthy of having a husband a woman needed to be closer to God. To seek God first in all the areas of her life, to put a complete trust in him, and know that he is always in Control. As it is written in God's word, Love your God will all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:4-5. He wants us to get to know him and hide ourselves in him, so that we can be his light to the world. A light that shines so bright that the people we meet ask us about it. What a wonderful opportunity to be this light and to help others see how amazing God is and what he has to offer them. I challenge you to take a moment and ask God how you personally can be his light to others. Blessings and remember that you are loved by the King Most High.

Keys

Imagine a key ring on it has special keys. The keeper of the keys is just waiting for us to ask for them. The keeper is Jesus, and he holds the keys to salvation, restoration, provision and much more. Jesus holds them out to us with an open hand just waiting for us to ask for the keys. His heart is so full of love for us that we cannot begin to imagine it. A love so deep that he wore a crown of thorns, so we could wear a crown of gold. A love so deep that he allowed himself to be nailed to the cross, so that we could nail our sins to the cross. All that he asks is that we reach out and take the keys, love him unconditionaly, and have a faith so deep that nothing is this world can shake it. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD.Psalm 117:1-2 What an amazing promise this is, thank you Jesus for your enduring love.
