Water

The faucet in my kitchen was slowly not letting the water come out, in fact it had turned into a very thin stream of water.  I must confess I am not very handy in the ways of fixing things.  I know of guys in my church that I probably could ask to come fix it, but sometimes I let pride get in the way.  So, here I am with a faucet that is not working, and this had been happening for months.  You know there was something else that needed my time and attention.  Well, it got so bad that when I turned the faucet on hardly any water came out.  Over a period of time I had been sending silent prayers to God about getting it fixed.  I have full confidence in my Heavenly Father that he will provide all of my needs.  How do I know this? It says in his word,  I will surely and abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor and bread. Psalm 132:15.  I  believe God and the word that he speaks, so I know his promise to be true. After a hard day of school, coming home and taking care of my kiddos it was bed time.  In my dream that night God showed me how to fix my broken faucet.  All I had to do was unscrew the bottom piece and clean out the filter.  When I woke up In gave the dream a passing thought and went about my day.  It was not until a couple of days later as I was attempting to do dishes did I remember the dream.  I stopped what I was doing and did exactly what God had instructed in my dream.  After doing this said okay God it's your turn...
...I turned on the faucet and water came pouring out in a regular flow!  I did a little happy dance and thanked God for showing me the way.  I know to some this sounds odd, but as I mentioned earlier I am not one to fix things, but I cling to the promises that God is my provider and he will take care of all of my wants and desires.  He knows my needs and provides for them.  What I do in return is to trust him completely  in all areas of my life.  For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. Psalm 33:4.    My challenge to you is to trust him with every thing, and he will surprise you beyond your wildest imagination.  Just take that step of faith and see what happens.  Blessings, Missie
